Château Haut Barrail is domain of about ten hectares in Médoc, north of Bordeaux. A “cru bourgeois” for many years, the wine is often awarded and commended by the specialist press. The wine has a majority of 70% Merlot and is aged 15 months in barrels.
The colour is a garnet (dark ruby) red. On the nose this wine develops a bouquet of ripe fruit and roasted almonds. In the mouth you will find a straightforward and fruity attack, an aromatic persistence and a balanced and well-structured finish. This wine will go perfectly with white meats and grilled beef.
